#specialitysunday - A blank from birch I started in Sweden and didn't have high hopes for turned into something I actually find half decent... More than that... Quote acceptable. - Wide Allround Cooker with heart bowl. Carbonized. Wabisabi Glaze finish in layered Pecan and Tropical Jade and finished in Half&Half tungoil. All by realmilkpaintco. 10%off link in my bio! - Spoon available though my website link! - Teal over Orange themes are among my absolute favourites when it comes to choosing finishes. I like browns and greens and all the blues for my work, the woods, leather gear etc but the Retro Happy vibe of this combo is hard to beat. I'm trying to get as much of a wornnJapanese pottery finish going as I can just like the pottery we used to make in Kyushu. - Happy Sunday! - Woodsmansfinest.com

Grandpa Leo Would Be Proud.
Review by Linda R. on 14 Jan 2022 review stating Grandpa Leo Would Be Proud.
My Real Milk Paint project exceeded my expectations! I made a set of blocks for my grandson using wood scraps from his Great Grandpa’s shop that I’d saved after he passed, and finished them with Real Milk Paint and Finishing Cream. They came out great! I love the colors I chose, and the Low Sheen Finishing Cream gave them a silky-smooth surface that makes these blocks so satisfying to hold and play with. I can almost hear my dad’s highest compliment - “There’s nothin’ wrong with ‘em!”

Good for toys
Review by Carolyn C. on 11 Feb 2021 review stating Good for toys
I had purchased an elephant-shaped wooden jigsaw puzzle from a thrift store. It's for my 12-month-old and I wanted to paint it to look more like elephants. After searching for some non-toxic paints, I stumbled upon Real Milk Paint Co and it sounded perfect for the job. I used the paints, tung oil, and gloss finishing cream - I think they turned out great! My baby enjoys playing with the puzzle pieces and the gloss looks like it's holding up well, no chipped paint.

As the paints are in a powder form, it did take some patience to mix up the colors. And I wasn't able to precisely measure and had to eyeball the consistency, adding a few more drops of water if the paint was too dry/thick or scooping in a toothpick's worth more of powdered paint if too thin/watery. I imagine it's easier to use for bigger jobs.

But all in all, I love these non-toxic paints and would definitely recommend and use again. Thanks!

Great paints from a reliable company
Review by MARIA M. on 10 Aug 2020 review stating Great paints from a reliable company
My go to company for milk paint. The shipping is quick and my order always come in great condition. I love that they offer sample size for small projects. The paint itself works great. I highly recommend getting their stick swatches to see the colors in person. This way it's easier to come up with color scheme for your projects.

As I was making this one I anticipated it would be a wall display but before I framed it I thought it would make such a great coffee table instead. I ended using quite a few of realmilkpaintco for the squares in the middle. Tell me what you guys think about this one.

Why Our Milk Paint is Powder

Our milk paint comes in powder form for several key reasons. By manufacturing milk paint as a powder, we extend its shelf life significantly—unlike pre-mixed paints, it doesn’t spoil or dry out, giving you more time to use it without waste. This form also offers flexibility; you can mix only as much paint as needed for your project, ensuring minimal product waste. Additionally, the absence of “water weight” in the powdered formula reduces shipping costs and carbon emissions, making it a more eco-friendly choice compared to traditional paints. The manufacturing process itself is clean and sustainable, using natural, nontoxic ingredients derived from milk protein, plants, and minerals.

NOTE: All colors shown both digitally and in print are for representational purposes only. Please test any color in context to ensure it is the color you desire.
